Yuletide : Zamfara Police Deploys Massive Security to ensure Hitch-Free Festive Period

The Zamfara State Police Command, under the leadership CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, psc+, has put in place comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of Christian faithful and the general public before, during, and after the Christmas and New Year celebrations across the state.

In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of Police, DSP Yazid Abubakar, issued to the Journalists in Gusau.

According to the Statement, the Police Command has also ensured adequate security coverage along major highways, as well as all entry and exit routes within and outside the state, to guarantee the safe and smooth movement of travellers throughout the festive period.

“These proactive measures are in line with the Command’s commitment to protecting lives and property, maintaining public order, and promoting peaceful coexistence among residents of Zamfara State”

“The Commissioner of Police assures members of the public of a sustained and visible security presence throughout the yuletide season and beyond”

He further urges citizens to remain law-abiding and to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information that will aid effective policing.

“The Police  Command also warns members of the public against the use of knockouts, bangers, and firecrackers, considering the fragile security situation in the state”

“The Zamfara State Police Command wishes the good people of the state a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year”

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
