Federal Road safety Corps Warns  Okada, KekeNapep riders, and Motorcycles  owners against over loading and over Speeding of School Children's  in Zamfara State.

In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of FRSC Isah Aliyu, issued to the journalists in Gusau.

According to the Statement, Sector Commander Aliyu Ma'aji Stated this during a town hall Meeting with  ANCOPSS, NAPS, State Ministry of Education held in Gusau.

Statement Said, Sector Commander said,  the town hall is bring together with Stakeholders, others to stop overloading and Over Speeding of School Children's.

Aliyu Ma'aji noted that, the Warning became imperative considering that, Trend's has shown that alot of students has lost their lives with others seriously injured across the state.

“The issues of safety is everybody business/responsibilities not only for Federal Road Safety Corps alone must joining hands to stop Overloading and other traffic violations” 

Aliyu Ma'aji reiterated his commitment of FRSC Zamfara sector command to enforce and total compliance for traffic rules and regulations, he urged the stakeholders, parents and General public to give maximum Support and cooperation with FRSC towards reducing road traffic crashers in the state.

In his remarks. chairman  All Nigeria Confederation of Principal's  secondary schools (ANCOPSS), Alh. Musa Yahaya Expressed  happiness for this stakeholders engagement, urged corps to rebuild FRSC Road safety club in the schools.

Alh. Musa Yahaya assured to give maximum Support and cooperation with FRSC activities towards reducing road traffic crashers in the state.

He appealed the Zamfara State government to provide school bus for easy students mobility and prevent children's Overloading and overspeeding.

In his Speech at the Meeting Chairman National Association of proprietors of private schools (NAPPS) Dr. Abdullahi Tukur Thanked the Sector commander for the Initiative and efforts to intensifies safety awareness compaign for the motoring public.

He urged the state government to provide same measures such as speed breakers, pedestrian bridge crossing among others in some schools close by the roads to stop Overloading and prevent the road traffic crashers in the State.

“Finally The Hon.Commossioner of Education Alh.Wadatau Madawaki  ably represented by Alh Aminu umar Director Administration appreciate the sector commander efforts for concern of road users lives and properties.

He assured the ministry of Education would give maximum Support and cooperation with FRSC activities towards reducing road traffic crashers in the state”

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
