New year: Zamfara Fist Lady distributes medical assistant to patients

The Wife of Zamfara Governor, Hajiya Huriyya Lawal, has supported the medical bills of patients receiving treatment at the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau to mark end of year humanitarian outreach.

A statement by the Press Secretary to the First Lady, Hajiya Rabi Yusuf in Gusau  said the assistant was distributed during a visit to patients admitted at the hospital.

Yusuf said each of the patient that was on admission at the hospital received the support of ₦150,000 to settle their medical bills and to help ease other financial challenges.

The First Lady stressed the importance of compassion and care for the sick once, noting that supporting vulnerable members of society remains the central focus of her humanitarian initiatives and aligns with the state government’s commitment to improving citizens wellbeing.

She offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the patients and reassured the government’s continued concern and support for their wellbeing.
