NSCDC Nab Suspect alleged Child's Trafficking, others in Zamfara

Nigeria Secuirity and Civil defence Corps, has Successfully arrested Suspect for child's trafficking, others Criminals in Zamfara State.
Briefing journalists, in Gusau, the Spokesperson of the NSCDC, Asc Muhammad Mansur Umar, said his Men has successfully arrested Jerry Peter Male 31 years old, of Tadurga Dotse, Zuru LGA of Kebbi state, of child trafficking on 24th January, 2026 in Gusau, with five suspected kidnapped victims, include, Simon Joseph male 12 years old.
Others are Alheri Emmanuel female, 13 years old, Rachael Bulus female 8 years old, Marvelous Ishiaku male 8 years old, Emmanuel Ishiaku male 13 years old.
Mansur Umar narrated that, they were rescued kidnapped Child's from suspected trafficking enroute to Kaduna at Lalan area, Gusau at about 2200hrs (10pm), the suspect, revealed they were on transit to Edo state and they were to be delivered to mummy bishop through Rev. James Joshua of Assembly of God Church, Benin City, Edo state.

“In light of the above and collaboration with sister agencies, the state commandant directed the immediate transferred of the child trafficking case to the relevant authority, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP) for further necessary proceedings”
Mansur Umar noted, his Men has arrested 16 Person for Illegal acquisitions of 1860 Liters of Petroleum Products, 1470 Liitres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), and 390 Litres of Automotive gas oil (AGO), include, Ibrahim Bala 26 years old male, Abdullahi Ibrahim 50 years old male.
Others are Shehu Yusuf 45 years old male, Naziru Umar 30 years old male, Shamsuddeen Lawal 43 years old male, Sani Ummaru 30 years old male, Bilyaminu Dama 35 years old male, Nuhu Rabiu Danmamman 24 years old male.
The res are Nasiru Alhaji Hamza 25 years old male, Shafiu Lawali 25 years old male, Rabiu Saidu 23 years old male, Abu Kansila (at large, Buhari (at large, Abu Gabas (at large), Ibrahim Kero (at large) and Ali (at large).
“The petroleum products were acquired from Azzaria filling station of Anka LGA, Kwando filling station of Bakura LGA, Hamson filling station of Bukkuyyum LGA, Kwando filling station of Gummi LGA, Salisu Murtala filling station of Kaura-namoda LGA and MKU filling station of Talata Mafara respectively”
“The arrests were made from the 21st to 23rd January, 2026, a total of sixty-two (62) jerrycans were apprehended, forty nine (49) jerrycans of PMS with a total of 1470 litres purchased at one million, two hundred and seventy-eight thousand, nine hundred naira (N1,278,900) thirteen (13) jerrycans of AGO with a total of 390 litres purchased at seven hundred and forty-one thousand naira (N741,000), total cost of petroleum products purchased two million, nineteen thousand, nine hundred naira (N2,019,900)”
“These purchases were carried out during odd hours of the night, contradicting the regulations of acquiring petroleum products in large quantities without due clearance or licence from appropriate authorities”
“Three young suspects were apprehended on the 25th January, 2026 in Gusau metropolis, reportedly for inciting nuisance, traffic violations, recklessness and disturbing the civil order in town, Namely Yasir Bello male 20 years old, Ibrahim Saidu male 20.years old, and Nasir Yabo male 20 years old, hey were reported to the authority for this persistent act before their arrest”
“Two suspected theif arrested by name, Akilu Ishaka male 29 years, and Ukashatu Bello 25 years, Were apprehended in position of suspected stolen motorcycle (Haojue), Akilu confessed to acquiring it from Kabiru (at large) of Bello way Sokoto, Sokoto state who is suspected to be involved in series of irregular buying and selling of motorcycles whilst Ukashatu is their mechanic. Investigation is ongoing”
“NSCDC has zero tolerance for criminal conspiracy, civil nuisance and any unethical vices the federation term unruly; any suspect apprehended shall face thorough investigation and upon completion, arraigned before a competent court of law for prosecution where necessary”
