Diabetes day : Chairman Louds Members for their Turn out in Zamfara

Members of the Diabetes association has been  Commended for their turnout to attended  the Lecture in Zamfara State.

The Commendation was Made by the Chairman Diabetes association Dr, Kabir Sada, during the Lecture organize by the Diabetes association ahead of 2026 Ramadan Pasting, held at Federal Medical Centre Gusau.

Dr, Kabir Sada Said Each and every year they would organize the Lecture on how the Diabetes Patients Monitors their body,   “theme” Ramadan Education.

Dr, Sada urged Members to take drugs, and Injection when time, so that to live like each other, also narrated the Food that they eat, include, White Beans, Suyer Beans, Wheat, Semolina among others.

Sada  distributed diabetes and hypertension Medication to the Members.

In his Speech, Dr, Zaharaddeen, emphasize the need of Diabetes patient, to always visit hospital, and  cheack the level of their Diabetes.

Dr, Expressed happiness over the Program, Commended Members for their support, Cooperation given to the leaders of  association, called on them to keep it up.

In his remarks Garkuwa,  Expressed Satisfaction over the Program, prayed Allah to protect and guide the leaders of association for them to succeed, called on Members to adhere what they learn during the Program.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
