NUJ Lauds APC Over the Appointment of three Veterans Journalists into key Positions in Zamfara

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State Council, wishes to express its profound appreciation to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State for the recent appointment of three distinguished members of the Union into key party positions.
In a Press Statement dually Signed by the Chairman and Secretary of NUJ Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare and Malan Ibrahim Ahmed Gada, issued to the Journalists in Gusau the State Capital.
According to the Statement the Union particularly commends the appointments of Alhaji Ibrahim Maigandi Dan Malikin Gidan Goga as Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Birnin Magaji as State Publicity Secretary, and Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau as Auditor.
“These appointments are not only well deserved but also a clear recognition of the professionalism, dedication, and integrity exhibited by these individuals over the years” statement said.
“The NUJ Zamfara State Council views this gesture as a demonstration of the APC leadership's confidence in the capacity and credibility of media professionals to contribute meaningfully to governance and party development” Statement added.
“While congratulating the appointees, the Union charges them to justify the confidence reposed in them by upholding the highest standards of morality, professionalism, and responsibility in the discharge of their duties. The Union expresses full confidence in their ability to represent the ideals of journalism and serve as worthy ambassadors of the profession”
“The Council also appreciates the Zamfara State Government, party stakeholders, and members for recognizing the invaluable role of journalists in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance”
Once again, the NUJ Zamfara State Council reiterates its pride in these members and assures them of its continued support as they take on their new responsibilities.
