The Zamfara Sate Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Muhammad Bello Engages Stakeholders in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas, Seeks Collaborative approach to Security in the State
In a Press Statement signed by the Spokesperson of Police Command DSP Yazid Abubakar, ANIPR, and made available to the Journalists in Gusau.
According the DSP Yazid Abubakar, ANIPR, The interactive engagement provided a platform for meaningful dialogue between the Police and the communities.
Yazid Abubakar said, the Commissioner sensitized participants on critical security issues, emphasizing the need for vigilance, prompt information sharing, and a collective approach to addressing crime and criminality.
CP Bello stressed that effective policing cannot be achieved without the active support and cooperation of the public.
He therefore urged residents to remain law-abiding, report suspicious activities promptly, and refrain from harboring or shielding criminal elements within their communities.
In the course of the visit, the Commissioner paid courtesy calls on Their Royal Highnesses: Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad, CON, Sarkin Zamfara and Chairman, Zamfara State Council of Chiefs, and Alhaji Muhammad Usman, Sarkin Danko Bukkuyum. During the visits, he sought their continued support in promoting peace, unity, and security within their respective domains.
The traditional rulers commended the Command’s proactive initiatives and pledged sustained collaboration with security agencies in tackling security challenges across the State.
