As Zamfara State marks its 30th Anniversary on 1st October 2026, the Federal Road Safety Corps, Zamfara Sector Command, under the leadership of the Sector Commander, CC Aliyu Ma'aji, felicitates with the Government and good people of the State.

In a Press Statement Signed by the Sporksperson of the Command, SRC Isah Aliyu, issued to the Journslists in Gusau, the State Capital

According to the Isah Aliyu, Sector Commander Aliyu Ma'aji has directed full deployment of Regular and Special Marshals across all critical routes, entry and exit points in Gusau, Kaura-Namoda, Talata-Mafara, Gummi, Maru, Bungudu, Tsafe and other major highways to ensure free flow of traffic and prompt rescue operations during and after the celebration.

“The Command will participate fully in the State Anniversary activities and will sustain its commitment to zero crash during the celebration”

Aliyu Ma'aji  appeals to motorists to avoid night travels, excessive speed, drunk driving, route violations, use of phone while driving and other traffic violations. 

Ma'aji also reiterates that the Ember Months campaign has commenced and urges all transport unions and fleet operators to cooperate with FRSC in ensuring safer roads across the state.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
