From Usman Shehu Bauchi In preparation for September 2024 National Youths Games in Asaba Delta State, Bauchi State Contingents storms Jalingo the headquarters of Taraba State with over Two hundred and twenty two athletes, Technical officials and Sports Journalists for North East Zonal Elimination. The team Bauchi which depart on Wednesday under the delagation of the State Director of Sports Coach Usman Yusuf, will be Competing in Eight different games that includes Football, Basketball Male and female, Handball Male and Female, Volleyball Male and Female and Rugby. Other events are Beach Volleyball, Cricket and Abula teams. Two teams from each sporting event will qualify to represent the zone at National Youths Games in Asaba Delta State. Bauchi State Gov. San. Bala Muhammad From Usman Shehu, Bauchi Bauchi State Commissioner of Budget and Planning  Aminu Hamayo, has announced the approval of Bauchi State Executive Council's 10 year development plan aimed at achieving sustainable growth and development across all sectors.  The Commissioner who told journalists shortly after the usual Wednesday State Executive Council Meeting held at Council Chamber of the Government House Bauchi, said the plan, which spans from 2024 to 2034, will focus on key areas that included healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, youth and women development, and industrialization. The journalists who are members of the Correspondents' Chapel were at the Palace of Emir of Katagum, Umar Faruq Umar when the Governor visited the local government after a violent protest where hoodlums razed the Council Secretariat in Azare, individuals property and stealing.
