Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has approves 10-Year Development Plan for Sustainable Growth

Bauchi State Commissioner of Budget and Planning Aminu Hamayo, has announced the approval of Bauchi State Executive Council's 10 year development plan aimed at achieving sustainable growth and development across all sectors.
The Commissioner who told journalists shortly after the usual Wednesday State Executive Council Meeting held at Council Chamber of the Government House Bauchi, said the plan, which spans from 2024 to 2034, will focus on key areas that included healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, youth and women development, and industrialization.
According to Aminu Hammayo, the long-term plan will address youth restlessness by leveraging ICT and digital economic transformation, as well as promoting inclusiveness in governance, saying "in addition with My Bauchi Agenda viable policy of Governor Bala Mohammed , Bauchi State will be the best in the North East and 9th best in the Country".He assured.
While in her submission,the state Commissioner of Higher Education, Dr. Lydia Tsammani, informed that the council in an effort to ensure proper and qualitative education impacted to our teaming youth, has approved the closure of some Higher institutions with immediate effect and directed the state Ministry of Higher Education to conduct serious investigation into the legal and illegalities and of course advantages and otherwise of establishing such institutions, to control proliferation of unqualified Colleges of education in the state.
Adding that the issue of unregistered Colleges of education who operates without the consent of Ministry of Higher Education and the regulatory body from the National has been addressed by the state executive Council.
The council had also approved an intensive training program for youths in the state, to be conducted in collaboration with the Federal Government's ICT Bureaus.
The Director General, Bureau for Information and Communication, Hayatuddeen Babama'aji, explained that the training aims to create an ICT-enabled environment, and as such, the council has ratified the change of scope of the bureau to State Bureau for ICT and Digital Economy.
Earlier, The Commissioner Ministry of Information and Communication Usman Ɗanturaki said that "This comprehensive approach to development demonstrates the Bauchi State Government's commitment to creating a sustainable and prosperous future for its citizens". And therefore urged the good and law abiding People of the State to continue sporting the revolutionary changes of the state Government under the leadership of Senator Bala Mohammed.
