Zamfara Govt Pledges Stronger Support for Shari'a Justice System
By Jamilu Sani Tsafe Zamfara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the Shari'a justice system and ensuring the independence of the judiciary as part of efforts to promote justice and good governance in the state. The Deputy Governor, Mallam Mani Malam Mummuni (Masamar Mudi), stated this while representing Governor Dauda Lawal at the 2026 Annual Shari'a Court Judges Conference and a special ceremony to honour the Grand Khadi of Zamfara State, Dr. Dahiru Muhammad Gusau with the title of Khadimul Shari'a, The event held on Monday at the Shari'a Court of Appeal Complex in Gusau.
