NIM north west zone holds a digital transformation summit in Kaduna

The Nigerian institute of management (chartered) north west zone have organised a annual zonal summit on digital transformation. 

The annual zonal summit which titled; "the digital transformation of 21st century organisation's" recently held at Asaa Pyramid Hotel in Kaduna.

Speaking at the event acting national president and the council chairman, Dr Christina v. Atako,explained that, the essence of this summit is to updates the knowledge of our professional members on current digital transformations in order to catered the challenges in 21st century.

"the digital transformations is importance in changing the way an organization operates, system, process, workflow and culture, it affects each level of an organization and bring together data across areas to work together more effectively."

According to the council chairman, the NIM is an non profit institution that's defined to require skills any standard's for professional manager's.

"It's purpose is to promote professionalism in management, also regulate and control the profession of management chartered in its aspects and ramifications."

In her addressed, Hajiya Rabi Umar Sabo Sodangi,who's the guest speaker, noted that, the digital transformation is the ability to use the technology transform the way our organisation interacts,outline and metup with ever tantamount customer references.

"digital transformation is importance in increased efficiency, greater business agility, and ultimately,the unlocking of new value for employees, customers and stakeholders, enables to personalized marketing through online and offline customers touch points."

Earlier in his opened addressed the NIM north west zone chairman, Professor Abubakar Garba, thanked the importance dignitaries attended the event for their volunteers commitment to participate the very important occasion.

He also saluted his esco and the local organising committee for their wonderful contributions for making.

While interviewed with Media men the Kaduna state chaptet NIM council chairman, Aliyu Jibrin, explained that, the summit is comprised all multi professional groups representing a various professional bodies which includes; lawyers, engineers, pharmacist, medical doctors among others.

"it's importance to our members to updates knowledge, the networking of knowledge especially in digital transformation."
