RAMADAN WALFARE: Ex Gov Yari Distributes 240 Trucks Of Assorted Grains To APC Supporters, IDPs, Orphans and Less Privileged

    Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator elect,Dr Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar has distributed 240 trucks of assorted grains to APC supporters, internally displaced person and orphans and less privileged in the state as Ramadan welfare package.

   Speaking  during the  distribution ceremony in Talatar Mafara, Yari's home town, he disclosed  that the items distributed include Rice, Guinea corn, maiza and sugar.

  According to him, each of the 14 local government areas would get 10 trucks of the commodity.

   He also said that the internally displaced person, (idps) will get 32 trucks, orphans 12 trucks while others organization would get 10 trucks respectively.

  He said the gesture was aimed at reduce hardship among people and help them to perform Ramadan fast with happiness.

  He called on the APC supporters in the state to remain calm and law abiding citizens for the development of the state.

  Yari called on the those handling the responsibility to distribute item to fear  God and give the group the number of bags allocated to Target beneficiaries.

  " Iam appealing to the leaders who will distribute items  to please fear God and give everyone his own share "

   In his remarks, the APC National vice chairman, salihu  mustapha who represented the APC National chairman senator Abdullahi Adamu, commended the former Governor for his gint efforts in assisting the party supporters and less privileged in the society.

   If we recall that last year yari distributed 170 trucks assorted grains and this year 240 trucks and assured the members of APC supporters will continue to in crease the number each year by the grace of God.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
