Gov. Bala of Bauchi State imposes 24 hours curfew

Bauchi State Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON has imposed a 24 hours curfew Following hoodlums Criminal Operation in Azare, Katagum Local Government, that led to the destruction, stealing, burning of government and individuals properties.

This was contained in a press released signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, issued the truth newspapers in bauchi.

The statement said that the decision was necessited due to the deteriorating security situation in Azare and its environments.

According to him the security situation has led to destruction of public property, telling, victimization among others.


The statement added that the governor has directed all security agencies to act into the matter and ensure that the hoodlums are arrested and face the law of the land.

Governor Bala, therefore called on law-abiding citizens to cooperate with security agencies at this trying moment.
