Easter Celebration : NSCDC Deploys 365 Personels in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of CC Sani Mustapha confirmed the deployment of 365 operational personnel across the state to ensure a peaceful and secured Easter celebration.

In a Press Statement signed by the   Spokesperson of the Command, Asc I Mohammad Umar M. issued to the journalists in Gusau, the State capital.

According to the Statement, the deployments optimally covers the period (pre, active, and post) festivities, with a strategic goal of actively strengthening security presence at worship centres, securing lives and critical infrastructure across the fourteen (14) Local Government areas  of the state.

Commandant Sani Mustapha urged for an extensive operational coverage; uphold discipline, consistency and the display of professionalism from personnel in the discharge of their respective duties to ensure peace and order, efficiently.

CC Sani Mustapha affirmed NSCDC under the accomplished leadership of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, is committed to deliver on its mandates and the Zamfara state command shall not relent; he reassured the civil populace of the Corps’ resolute pledge to the protection of lives, property and critical infrastructure, noting, any perpetrator apprehended shall face the consequences of his/her action.

In conclusion, CC Sani Mustapha felicitate and wish the Christians a successful and fulfilling Easter celebration, may this period further unify and bring-forth a lasting peace to our nation.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
