ZAMFARA DEP. GOV. DEPARTS GUSAU FOR ABUJA ON OFFICIAL ASSIGNMENTS

Zamfara State Deputy Governor Malan Mani Malan Mummuni Masamar mudi Matawallen Bukkuyum

The Zamfara State Deputy Governor Mani Malam Mummuni Masamar Mudi (Matawallen Bukkuyum), has departed Gusau for Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, to undertake a series of official assignments scheduled from Sunday, 14th June to Thursday, 18th June, 2026.

The Deputy Governor alongside his entourage will, on Monday, 15th June, 2026, attend a One-Day High-Level National Workshop on Border Security, Resilience and Cross-Border Cooperation. 

The workshop is being organized by the National Boundary Commission and will take place at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Continental Hotel, Abuja.

In a related development, the Deputy Governor also will represent the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal and the good people of the State at the National Economic Council (NEC) Meeting on Wednesday, 17th June, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Conference Hall, Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja.

The Deputy Governor's entourage includes, aides from his Office, Honourable Commissioner for Security and Internal Affairs, Chairman of Zurmi Local Government and ALGON representative, Permanent Secretary/ Solicitor General Ministry of Justice, Director of Security in the Ministry for Security and Internal Affairs, and the Deputy Director of Security. 

The Deputy Governor is expected to return to Gusau upon the completion of the assignments.
