The Zamfara State Deputy Governor Mani Malam Mummuni Masamar Mudi (Matawallen Bukkuyum), has departed Gusau to represent the State Executive Governor Dauda Lawal, at the High-Level North-West Policy Dialogue on Reducing Multidimensional Poverty Through Scaled Social Protection Systems and Innovative Financing in kano state.
This is contained in a statement signed by the press secretary office the state deputy governor, Shehu Adamu Gusau and made available to journalists in Gusau.
According to the Statement, the Program organized by the North-West Governors' Forum in Collaboration with the Office of the Vice President, the European Union, UNICEF, and other development partners.
“The programme is aimed at accelerating efforts towards reducing multidimensional poverty across the North-West region through coordinated policies, sustainable financing, and strengthened social protection systems and it last for two days” Statement said.
“The event also will bring Governors of the North-West states, senior government officials, development partners, policy experts, and key stakeholders to deliberate on practical strategies for addressing poverty, improving human capital development, and enhancing social protection interventions across the region” Statement added.
“The Deputy Governor will join other state representatives and stakeholders in reviewing policy recommendations and strengthening collaborative efforts aimed at improving socio-economic outcomes for the people of the North-West region”
