ZAMFARA LG SERVICE COMMISSION TO PROVIDE COMPUTERS TO THE LG STAFFS

The Executive Chairman Local Government Services Commission, Alhaji Aminu Aliyu Mafara, has assured Local government staffs in Various departments and cadres that computers will be provided to enable them carry out their responsibilities in accordance with global practices in Zamfara State.
In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of the Commission, Mallan Jamilu Isah Gusau, issued to the Journalists in Gusau, the State Capital.
According to the Statement, Executive Chairman of the Commission, Alh. Aminu Aliyu Mafara, who was represented by the Permanent Commissioner 2 of the Commission, Hon. Anas Iliyasu Birninsin, made the assurance during the presentation of the certificate of attendance at the end of the three-day workshop held at the Commission's multipurpose hall in Gusau, the State Capital.
The Executive emphasized that, in a world advancing technologically, the computers already underway are essential to ensure that Local Government staff have access to these resources.
Aminu Mafara further said that, it will transition to electronic governance to enhance public service delivery, improve efficiency, and strengthen transparency in government operations.
In his remarks, the Secretary of the Commission, Brr. Shafi'u Bukhari, who was represented by the Director of Administration of the Commission, Alhaji Muktar Sani Bukkuyum, applauded the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for releasing the monthly training funds of the Commission, adding that the commission Appreciate participants for their Maturity, discipline, active participation, and readiness to acquire new knowledge, which have greatly contributed to the success of the workshop.
He further said that a very big thanks goes to the facilitators, Abuja Institute of Leadership and Business
Management for their dedication, professionalism, and the wealth of knowledge and practical skills shared with us throughout the three days of intensive training.
Brr. Shafi'u also highlighted that the contributions have equipped officers with modern techniques and best practices that will surely improve their capacity to effectively discharge their
responsibilities in accordance with the established laws, regulations and professional standard.
The Secretary also said that the Commission remains committed to capacity building and human resource development, particularly at the grassroots level, because the Commission believes that knowledge and skills are essential for effective service delivery,
He urged the participants to ensure that the lessons learned during the workshop are effectively translated into action.
