NSCDC has arressted Suspect for Human trafficking in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Command of Nigeria Secuirity and Civil defence Corps, under the able Leadership of Commandant Sani Mustapha has arrested Suspect for Human Trafficking.

This was Contained in a Press Released signed by the Sporkaperson of the Command  Asc I Umar Mohammad M. Issued to the Journalists in Gusau, the State Capita.

According to the Press Released, the suspect, Bala Abubakar ‘M’ 25 years old of Zurmi LGA of the state, was apprehended in Lalan area of Gusau, on the 15th October 2026 at about 2030hours (08:30pm) in with two (2) suspected kidnap victims by name: Amira Baje Ibrahim ‘F’ 13 year old, and Haulatu (Hable) Shaibu ‘F’ 13 year old, both indigenes of Zurmi LGA.

Umar Mohammad M. Said the Suspect were rescued from the suspected trafficker enroute from Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara state.

Umar Mohammad noted that, the suspect, revealed they were to be delivered to one Hadiza and Bara’atu (Yar baba) in Suleja, Niger state.

“In fairness, transparency and collaboration with sister agencies, the state commandant has directed the immediate transfer of the briefed case to the relevant authority in National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP) for further necessary action(s)”

“NSCDC is uncompromising and has zero tolerance for criminality, civil unrest and other unethical vices the federation term unruly; any suspect apprehended shall face astute investigation and upon completion, arraigned before a competent court of law for prosecution”

“In accordance with statutory mandate of the Corps and collaboration with sister security agencies, the Zamfara state command under the adept headship and supervision of CC Sani Mustapha, established a co-ordinated preventive modules of curbing these incessant activities disturbing the peace and order of the state; regulatory and investigatory structures are in place to proactively contain these unethical dealings within the bounds the state”
