From Aliyu Buhari Gusau As part of efforts to combat the increasing effects of climate change and ensure a sustainable environment, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)   has launched a tree planting campaign in Zamfara State. The exercise which was flagged-off at  the premises of Government Girls Day Secondary School (GGDSS), in Bungudu Local Government Area of the State. In his remarks, the State Coordinator NYSC Zamfara State, Mallam Muhammad Lawan Ahmed stated that the initiative is part of a nationwide drive by the NYSC to protect the environment.
