NYCN Mobilizes Over 50 Youth Leaders across 14 LGA's in Zamfara

From Aliyu Buhari Gusau The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), under the leadership of Comrade Nurudeen Salisu Maishinkpha, has mobilized over 50 youth leaders across 14 Local Government Areas, for a Strategic Leadership and Policy Advocacy Retreat aimed at strengthening youth leadership and institutional effectiveness in Zamfara State. Speaking at the Meeting, Comrade Nuradeen Salisu said they were brought together key stakeholders within the NYCN structure, including State Executive Council members, Local Government Coordinators, Heads of Directorates. Zamfara First Lady Mourns Family's of Nuhu tofa over his Dead

Late Nuhu tofa IbrahimG Ahmad Zamfara State first lady Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has consoled with the family of the late Nasir Nuhu Tofa, a committed member of the Zamfara State First Lady Media Team and Ward Ambassador of Tofa Ward, over his passing. This was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media, Hajiya Rabi Yusuf in Gusau. The statement courted the Governor's Wife describing the late Nasir Nuhu Tofa as a dedicated, hardworking and loyal team member who contributed meaningfully to the work of the media team.  She noted that his death was a painful loss to the team and to everyone who had the privilege of working with him. The First Lady extended her heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives and colleagues, praying that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds and grants him Jannatul Firdaus.  She also prayed that Allah grants his family the strength and patience to bear the loss.

Skills training key to inmates’ reintegration in Zamfara – Juta

This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau by the Spokesperson Correctional Services, Mustapha Abubakar. said the Controller Stated this during an official tour of the Medium Security Custodial Centre Gusau, and the Nigerian Correctional Officers Wives Association School. Muhammad juta, said the visit aimed to assess facilities, interact with officers, inmates, and evaluate ongoing rehabilitation and welfare programmes. “Vocational training and education remain central to our mandate of reform, rehabilitation and reintegration,” Juta said. Zamfara Govt. setups committee for Anka airstrip projects

The Delegates By IbrahimG Ahmad The Zamfara State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, has constituted and deployed a technical committee to identify a suitable site for the proposed Anka Airstrip in Anka Local Government Area. This was contained in a statement by the Ministry Public Relation Officer, Jamilu Bello, issued to the Journalists in Gusau. According to statement the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Lawal Barau said the ministry in collaboration with the Ministry for Local Government, Ministry of Housing, Zamfara Geographic Information System (ZAGIS), Anka Local Government Council, the Anka Emirate Council, and relevant security agencies, had send a delegation to carried out field assignment. Bello said the mandate of the technical team deployed to Anka was to conduct comprehensive field inspections, stakeholder consultations, and technical assessments in accordance with established planning, safety, and regulatory standards.
