  Zamfara State Commandant NSCDC, Sani Mustapha  From Aliyu Buhari Gusau Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara state command has received with shock, the news of the arrest of an officer of the command, ASCII Maikano Sarkin-Tasha by the  police, allegedly for supplying ammunitions and drugs to bandits in the State. Zamfara State Sector Commandant  Umar Massaudu   By IbrahimG Ahmad   Zamfara Sector Command Federal Roads Safety Corps seeks partnership with  State Fire Service to train personnel on fire fighting. The Sector Commandant, Umar Massaudu made the request at a courtesy visit  to the Director State Fire Service Board, Abdullahi Jibbo in Gusau. Massaudu said that part of his motive behind the visit was to established partnership on training and retaining of the corps personnel on fire fighting for effective rescue of accident victims. He said that some times roads crashes  involved fire outbreak therefore, the skills to operate fire fighting tools was very critical to save lives and properties. UNICEF  nutrition Specialist, Philomena Irene From Usman Shehu, Bauchi Nutrition Specialist with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) bitterly expressed concern over low intake of iron and folic acid by pregnant women in Bauchi state. The nutrition Specialist, Philomena Irene, made the expression on Tuesday while speaking at a 1-Day Inception meeting of Scale-Up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS) for Pregnant Women in Bauchi State. She explained that the National Demographic Health Information Survey (NDHIS) 2018 reveals that only 23 percent of the 381,364 pregnant women in Bauchi state receives iron and folic acid supplementation, which is crucial in reducing the risk of low birth weight, maternal anaemia, and iron deficiency.
