Residents of the area said more than 100 households and many farmlands have been submerged in the flood. The Acting Chairman of Kirfi Local Government Area, Alhaji Bala Muhammed Duguri, confirmed the incidents to the truth newspapers in Bauchi. UNICEF made the expression in a press statement mada available to journalists on Thursday as part of activities marking World Breastfeeding Week, where the Organization appreciates the ‘significant progress in increasing exclusive breastfeeding rates among infants under six months’ in Nigeria.
