The Commissioner for Women Affairs, Children and Social Development Dr. Aisha Anka made the disclosure while receiving a donations of menstrual panties from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Gusau. By IbrahimG Ahmad The Zamfara State Command of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) says it is embarking on special patrol to enforce the use of speed limiting device by all kind of vehicles to checkmate rate of highway crashes. This was contained in a statement by the Command’s Public Education Officer, Aliyu Isah in Gusau, said the action followed reports of reckless nature of drivers of large trucks passing through Zamfara:” most often with over loading or mix loading, and on high speed. The command emphasised that all other traffic violators would not be spared during the enforcement patrol. It said that henceforth, the special patrol team would apprehend roads traffic offenders that include; mix loading of good, animals and human beings by trucks drivers, over loading and failure to fix speed limiting devices.
