Zamfara Govt. trains 120 women digital literacy

By IbrahimG Ahmad Zamfara State Ministry for Women Affairs Children and Social Development partner with Zamfara Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (ZITDA), Nigerian communication commission (NCC) trained 120 women on digital literacy. The Commissioner for Women Affairs, Children and Social Development Dr. Aisha Anka made the disclosure while receiving a donations of menstrual panties from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Gusau. The commissioner represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Barrister Suwaiba Ibrahim said the participants were carefully selected from the fourteen local government areas. FRSC promotes 31 personnels in Zamfara

Decorating Promoted Personels at Command headquarters  bye pass road in Gusau, Sector Commander Aliyu Ma'aji charged the personnel to redouble their efforts towards sensitising the motoring public on the importance of traffic guidelines to ensure safety on our roads. Aliyu Ma'aji Said that, the promoted personnels comprised seven officers and twenty-four marshals, who were successful in the 2025 promotion exam. Zamfara: FRSC enforces motorists’ use of speed limiting device to tackle highway crashes

By IbrahimG Ahmad The Zamfara State Command of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) says it is embarking on special patrol to enforce the use of speed limiting device by all kind of vehicles to checkmate rate of highway crashes. This was contained in a statement by the Command’s Public Education Officer, Aliyu Isah in Gusau, said the action followed reports of reckless nature of drivers of large trucks passing through Zamfara:” most often with over loading or mix loading, and on high speed. The command emphasised that all other traffic violators would not be spared during the enforcement patrol. It said that henceforth, the special patrol team would apprehend roads traffic offenders that include; mix loading of good, animals and human beings by trucks drivers, over loading and failure to fix speed limiting devices. In a statement released by the command public Education officer SRC Aliyu isah, said  Sector commander CC Aliyu Ma'aji observe the reckless nature Haulage Trucks  pass through Zamfara most often with high loading or mix-Loading and on high speed. Aliyu Ma'aji also emphasize that other traffic. Violatord would also not be spared. Ma'aji called on motoring public to cooperate with his men in order to ensure a safer road environment in the state. The Sector commander also emphasize that motorist that move without proper registration or cover their number plate would also be apprehended.
