Gov. Lawal attend Funeral Prayer of People Burned by Bandits, assures Militatry base in Gwargwabe

FROM JAMILU SANI TSAFE    The Zamfara State Government is taking steps to address bandit attack in Gwargwabe village of Nahuce district in Bungudu Local Government confirmed the tragic killing of four people who were burnt to death.    State Governor,  Dauda Lawal, represented by his Deputy, Mani Malam Mummuni, attended the funeral prayer and burial of the victims.        He pledged the government’s continued commitment to taking all necessary steps to address banditry in the State.        The Deputy Governor, urged residents to accept the incident as an act of destiny while assuring them that, the government is investigating the delay in the arrival of security operatives after the attack was reported.     The Matawallen Bukkuyum also announced the establishment of a military base in Gwargwabe to curb further attacks and called on the community to support security agencies with cooperation and unity.   On b...

PDP hails court ruling upholding party’s position

Late Nuhu tofa IbrahimG Ahmad Zamfara State first lady Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has consoled with the family of the late Nasir Nuhu Tofa, a committed member of the Zamfara State First Lady Media Team and Ward Ambassador of Tofa Ward, over his passing. This was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media, Hajiya Rabi Yusuf in Gusau. The statement courted the Governor's Wife describing the late Nasir Nuhu Tofa as a dedicated, hardworking and loyal team member who contributed meaningfully to the work of the media team.  She noted that his death was a painful loss to the team and to everyone who had the privilege of working with him. The First Lady extended her heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives and colleagues, praying that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds and grants him Jannatul Firdaus.  She also prayed that Allah grants his family the strength and patience to bear the loss.

Skills training key to inmates’ reintegration in Zamfara – Juta

By IbrahimG Ahmad The Wife of Zamfara Governor, Hajiya Huriyya Lawal, has supported the medical bills of patients receiving treatment at the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau to mark end of year humanitarian outreach. A statement by the Press Secretary to the First Lady, Hajiya Rabi Yusuf in Gusau  said the assistant was distributed during a visit to patients admitted at the hospital. Yusuf said each of the patient that was on admission at the hospital received the support of ₦150,000 to settle their medical bills and to help ease other financial challenges.
