Zamfara State Governor Dr, Dauda Lawal From Nasiru Abubakar  Zamfara State Government to spend over one Hundred and fourty Billion (140b) in roads and other Infrastructures projects in the State. This was disclosed by the Commissioner Ministry of works and infrastructure Alhaji Baraya while depending the 2024 appropriation allocated to the ministry before  the House Committee on finance and appropriation. According to the Commissioner these projects will include the ongoing reconstruction of major roads in Gusau metropolis under the State government's urban renewal policy. Contributions of drainage and other infrastructures projects across the fourteen local government are also included, he noted. Submitting the report to state Commissioner for Religious Affairs, the chairman of the committee, Sheikh Kabir Umar Maru, said it took the committee a complete one month to compile the report. He stated the report is made up of five chapters and 275 pages detailing issues pertaining to the initial struggle for launch of the Shariah legal system, implementation and progress so far in the state. Yahaya Garba has called on households in the area to make best use of free Treated Mosquito Nets  distributed to them for maximum protection against mosquitoes. Engr. Yahaya Garba made the call while going round to inspect distribution of the nets at designated distribution centers in Gusau metropolis and environs. Executive Director Zamfara State Fire Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Jibo Dauran From Aliyu Buhari Gusau Fire outbreak destroyed properties worth #273,335,230  between January to December 2023 in Zamfara State This was disclosed by the Executive Director of the Zamfara State Fire service Alhaji Abdullahi jibo dauran in an interview with the truth newspaper in his office Gusau the state capital. Zamfara State Governor Dr, Dauda lawal   From Haruna Muhd Gusau Zamfara State Zakkat and Endowment Board has distributed 60 mattresses,   N20,000 per person and tricycles to less privileged persons in the state. Chairman of the board,  Malam Ahmad Umar Kanoma stated this while distributing the items and cash to the beneficiaries at the board's headquarters in Gusau. According to Malam Kanoma, the gesture was the 6th of its kind since his assumption of office ad the chairman of the board.
