FG, Foundation distribute cash grants to 500 women in Zamfara

Wife of Zamfara State Governor Her Excellence Hurriya Dauda Lawal By IbrahimG Ahmad The Office of the First Lady, under the Renewed Hope Initiative, has distributed cash grants to 500 small and medium-scale businesswomen in Zamfara. The grants were distributed to beneficiaries in collaboration with the Tony Elumelu Foundation. Speaking at the event in Gusau, Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, said the women’s economic empowerment programme was launched to recapitalise 500 businesswomen with N50,000 each. Zamfara State Commissioner of Health Dr, Nafisa Muhammad Maradun By IbrahimG Ahmad Zamfara State government has inaugurated State Emergency Medical Treatment Committee (SEMTC) as part of effort to improve community healthcare delivery. Inaugurating the Committee in Gusau, The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Malan Bashir Surajo, Congratulated the committee with hope that they would deliver the mandate with all needed commitment.
