Wife of Zamfara State Governor, Haji ya huriyya Dauda Lawal By IbrahimG Ahmad   Marking the Governor Dauda Lawal two years administration the Wife of the State Governor, Hajjiya Huriyya Lawal has empower 1000 women to start or boost their existing businesses. The truth Newspaper report that the 1000 women selected from the 14 Local Government Areas of the state received a starter pack of their businesses choice and the sum of N20,000 each. The empowerment was design to give support to 1000 women that operate different small and medium scale businesses such as; local juices, traditional dishes and vegetables trading. Distributing the items the First Lady, Hajiya Huriyya Lawal said the empowerment was made to regain the hope of the vulnerable communities and boost their economic capacity to improved the livelihood of the state. FRSC Collaborates Zamfara govt. to train public drivers

Zamfara State Sector Commander FRSC Aliyu Ma'aji By IbrahimG Ahmad The Zamfara State Command Federal Road Safety Corps says its ready to Collaborate with Zamfara Government to train Public drivers from Federal, State and Local government Establishments. This was disiclosed by the Sector Commander, Mr Aliyu Ma’aji  in an interview with the truth Newspaper in Gusau. Ma'aji said  all necessary arrangements have been put in place for the commencement of the training. He said that as the leading agency in the traffic control and management, the aim was to acquire better knowledge and skills that would ensure safety on the roads. “Although public drivers have traffic laws background, but training and retaining can improve their capacity to meet the world standard of roads safety management and control” he said. NYCN Collaborates with AGILE Zamfara to Launch Empowering Clubs in Secondary Schools

Declaring the session open the State Governor, Dauda Lawal called on Council Chairmen to remain closer to their communities to enable them known much about security affecting the grassroot community. The Governor who was represented by the State Deputy Governor, Mallam Mani Mummune said must of the attacks and other criminal activities carried out by bandits were done at the rural communities. Speaking at an event to launch the program and distribute farming tools to primary schools which held in Gusau on Wednesday, the Wife Zamfara State Governor, Hajjiya Huriyya Lawal said the initiative was introduce to enable children from the younger age engage themselves into farming activities. Lawal said each primary schools in the state were provided with a School farm with a Solar motorized borehole, Water pump machine, Wheelbarrow, Hoes and cutlasses. With this arrangement children would be exposed to practical aspect of crops cultivation, and culture of farming can be inculcated into their mind.
